How Do I Read My Books On The Mobile App?

Using your Book.io app for the first time to read.

The Book.io app:
- Download for Apple: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/book-io/id1661003233
- Download for Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bookio
Books in your Book.io account or in your digital asset wallet (Eternl, MetaMask, Pera, etc.)
If using a digital asset wallet for Cardano, Polygon & Ethereum: A desktop computer with the wallet extension installed.

Open the Book.io app
Click "Log in with Wallet".
A screen will display a seven-digit pin number and instructions.

Steps 4-9 will occur on a desktop computer
On your desktop with your wallet extension navigate to https://book.io/connect
If using the Eternl Wallet extension on your desktop make sure the plug symbol on your extension is green.
Enter the seven-digit pin, then click "Next".
Then click "Connect Wallet".
Next, you will click "Verify Ownership".
This will launch the extension for you to enter your password. Enter your password.

Back to that app on your phone
You will now see the mobile app displaying the Book.io loading animation
After 30-60 seconds your book will now be displayed, click on your book and start reading!

Open the Book.io app
Click "Log in with Wallet".
A screen will display a seven-digit pin number and instructions.

Steps 4-9 will occur on a desktop computer
On your desktop with your wallet extension navigate to https://book.io/connect
Enter the seven-digit pin, then click "Next".
Then click "Connect Wallet".
It will ask you which wallet you want to connect, select "MetaMask" and click "Connect".
Metamask will launch the extension to confirm the connection, on the extension click "Next".
On the web browser it will say "Connect your wallet", click on "Next"
Next, you will click "Verify Ownership".
This will launch the MetaMask extension for you to sign that you trust the site to see what books you own.

Back to that app on your phone
You will now see the mobile app displaying the Book.io loading animation
After 30-60 seconds your book will now be displayed, click on your book and start reading!

Navigate to https://app.book.io/bookshelf
Click on "Connect Wallet".
From the pop-up, select "Pera Wallet".
A Pera Connect pop-up will open, Click on "Launch Pera Web".
Enter your passcode, then click "Launch Pera".
It will process for a couple of seconds and then take you back to Book.io to your library.
Click on "Read" to start reading your NFT book.
*A pop-up will appear the first time you open each book asking you to "Verify Ownership". This is standard and is part of confirming that books are still in your wallet, it should only ask you once per book or until you clear your cookies.
